Applied Project Management is a demanding course held over three ½
day sessions. Simulated projects allow participants to immediately
apply new skills in a demanding group setting.
Advanced techniques in scheduling, tracking and cost control are introduced.
Participants receive comprehensive checklists that can be immediately
applied to their own projects.
Participants return to their organisation prepared to meet time, budget
and performance objectives on their own projects.
Working in team environments, participants will:
Discuss integration management and the
components of a project plan
Facilitate a project kickoff planning session
Implement project management processes and best
practices
Learn and be tested on advanced techniques for
estimating
Practice advanced techniques for managing the
critical path
Be presented with challenging scope change and
replanning situation
